New laser cutter

I bought a cheap Chinese 40W 2030 (20cm x 30cm cutting area) laser engraver/cutter and unpacked it today. There is a lot to be done to make it safe and usable and I can’t wait to start making things with it.

    Was your laser cutter created in the future? The build date on the laser tube looks like 2016/12/18
