With the exception of some trim work and final painting the basement is done! I still have to have the city inspector sign off, hopefully they can get out this week.
I took some pictures and somehow the cat kept getting herself in the frame. It is still a mess and needs a lot of organizing but it is really nice to have it done.
I finished the ceiling in most of the basement, hung doors and set cabinets last weekend but am just now getting this posted. We also had some carpet laid Monday and they are finishing the carpet today. This project is approaching closure!

The paint is on and I am starting on the suspended ceiling. About half of the wall angle is up.

Hooray, the basement is ready for paint! I didn’t take any pictures of the orange peel texture, but it is on and ready for priming and paint.
